how colour can help...

i always look at my closet and just like i want to wear this colour today and tomorrow another and so on...i think im a mood dresser...actually, mood dressers are people who are in-tune with their emotions and dress accordingly...and i have to say im like that although sometimes i just pick something that easy to iron...hehe...
the point here is that colour sometimes reflect your mood and it also can give you a certain strength that sometimes you would never realize...so here are some informations about colours and how it can help you make your day..

Black

Black reflects authority and is often worn in formal or business situations .Wearing black will allow you to keep a low-profile in social settings if that is your intention.Don't wear black if you want to stand out amidst a crowd. It is also a colour associated with death and mourning. It is also considered “slimming”. Black can give you confidence but can be quite harsh on the complexion of many people. Charcoal or medium Grey can still be formal but more flattering to wear.

White

White represents cleansing and new beginnings. It is also the colour of purity and innocence which is why it became a traditional colour for brides in Victorian times. White is chosen for new born babies and angels are often depicted in white to reflect their innocence and goodness. White is a colour we all wear at one time or another, but for many adults, wearing white from head to foot is not always the best look. It is a great summer colour and can be used to mix with other colours to “lighten” the overall appearance .Wearing white will help reduce any nagging feelings of disappointment or drudge.

Brown

Brown is an earthy colour and is associated with friendliness and comfort. Some people find brown “boring” but there are many different shades of brown to choose from and once you find the right brown, you will find it a comfortable and useful part of your wardrobe. By wearing brown, you will appear more relaxed and approachable.

Red

Red is an energetic and powerful colour. Visualizing the color red can help ground your energies so anyone who has "flighty" tendencies will benefit from wearing red to serve as a reminder to ground themselves throughout the day.Red can give confidence to the wearer, making them feel in control. It is an exciting colour too and often worn by vivacious or outgoing people. There are many different shades of red , there is one for everybody. Wear red whenever you feel a need to portray confidence or would like to boost your self esteem. However, be aware that wearing too much red can make a person come off a little too intimidating to others who may lack self confidence in themselves.

Yellow

Yellow is a bright and sunny colour and can make us feel alive and invigorated. It carries the same healing qualities associated with the sun. It offers warmth, optimism, and light . It is also a colour that can be difficult to wear, so finding the best shade for you is important. For certain, yellow is a perky color! Wear yellow when you feel glad to be alive and its perfect color to wear whenever your spirits needs an uplift. Wearing yellow out into the world makes an affirmation statement.

Purple

Purple is seldom worn as a neutral color. The color purple, especially shades of violet, will definitely make a statement. Wearing purple shows others that you want to be noticed. If it is your desire to feel special and unique then purple is the right color choice. If you would like to send a message out into the world that you're one of a kind and that you could care less about conformity, then wear purple.

Pink

Pink is often the favourite colour of little girls and some big girls too! This is a good colour to wear if you want to connect with other people. Again there is a vast range of pinks available and different shades will suit different people.Pink is associated with gentleness and empathy. I guess thats why girls like to wear pink.Actually in the 1920's if im not mistaken, pink is a masculin colour..can you imagine that!! haha...

Blue

Blue is the colour of logic. It is a “safe” colour and often associated with law and order. Many uniforms are blue. The darker the shade the stronger the effect so by wearing lighter shades, you still have the benefit of wearing a safe colour but without the authority. In contrary, wearing blue also helps create a place of calm and serenity.Wearing ocean hues of blue is especially calming. Indigo or darker blues can offer more of a comfort zone feeling, almost as if you are sinking into a pool of warm water. Blues in general remind me of a favorite pair of well-worn denim jeans - now that's simply relaxing.

Green

Green is considered to be one of the most healing among all the colors.Because green is the color of trees and grasses it is a wonderful color choice to wear anytime you are wanting to feel more in-tune with nature. Green represents the Spring season and new growth. Green is a calming colour and often used in hospitals and dentist waiting rooms to calm the patients. One study has shown that children in a green classroom are more focused than in a yellow classroom and concentrate for longer. Green is the colour of vegetation and often loved by creative and imaginative people. Choose this color to wear whenever you are embarking on something new or wish to turn over a new leaf. Find a shade that suits you when you need to be open minded.
Our prophet Muhammad S.A.W love this colour...

Colour can really change the world...By choosing the right colours, we can influence how we feel and it also reflects how we are perceived by others around us....and also what we are comfortable with...
